About me: About me: Hi! I'm John. I grew up in a household full of of animals since I was a baby. I've never met a cat or dog that didn't automatically think I was a "cool guy". In my family we had a black lab, Jake, as well as our sweet mutt dogs, Buffy and Brownie. I also had several cats growing up, Lucky, Ebony, and Winky. I learned so much about how to communicate with animals through my experiences with these members of my family. I also had a snake, Fred, and two guinea pigs, Charlie and Bear, who I loved. As an adult, I raised a beautiful dog, Crom, a chow/husky/border collie mix, who showed me how to deal with intense breeds lovingly. I was the dad for my rescued, formerly homeless cat from Mexico, Rusty. I was also the proud parent of 4 bunnies (Moxy, Bailey, Harvey, and Simon), 2 mice (Bub and Bob), and 1 nanday conure (Hank), all of whom had fantastic personalities and who I love dearly.. I am currently the proud papa of Belle, a dear and funny 10 year old border collie mix and Jack and Lily, my 2 sweetpea cats. I have cared for my friends' animals as well: ferrets, snakes, lizards, parrots, and of course, dogs and cats! I love animals of all kinds and I have an immediate connection with them. I am responsible, loving, and aware. Animals in our lives are worth the extra effort we can provide for them!
