Neighborhoods: Prospect Heights, Crown Heights

About me: I have been taking care of dogs since the age of six and I cannot imagine life without the company of a pet. My own pets have included Casey, a Golden Retriever and Lucy, a Yellow Labrador. I have spent time volunteering at the Humane Society and also have worked as an independent dog sitter and walker for the past year. I have a true passion for taking care of animals and find that the attention and love that I give them comes back to me times ten and then some. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to have pets in my current apartment so when the opportunity came up to become a part of TeamBArk! I was overjoyed. Caring for animals is something that helps to make my life more fulfilling and I look forward to caring for each clients' pet as I would my own.

"Sam has been walking Rocket on a regular basis for the past four months. Rocket is only a year old and as a puggle/ chihuahua mix she can be extremely temperamental and nervous. From my first meeting with Sam, I felt completely at ease about Rocket being cared for in a responsible and loving manner. Sam's friendly demeanor and warm personality calmed my nerves about a stranger coming into my home to care for my puppy. She was extremely patient with Rocket at our first meeting and allowed ample time for Rocket to feel comfortable with her before just taking her out for a quick walk. Most importantly, Sam always checks in with me after she walks Rocket and leaves a full report about how Rocket does on each walk. It is a relief to know that Rocket actually knows Sam, and she isn't just a random dog walker coming into my apartment to take her out to do her business."
