"I was adopted by a rescue Greyhound named Deano. He chose me the moment I walked through the door."

Neighborhoods: Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights

About me: I grew up in London and have had dogs since I was a little kid. I grew up with Greyhounds and other English breeds, which meant from a young age I had to learn how to train and work with high maintenance dogs, Which led me to study animal behaviour at University. When I got into my 20s, I started training dogs and volunteering at kennels during down time from my demanding global job. I have always loved working with dogs (and cats, as well) and it was wonderful to be able to spend my free time among animals.

In my late 20's, I was adopted by a rescue Greyhound named Deano. He chose me the moment I walked through the door. Deano stood by my side for 7 years until he passed away from bone cancer. After Deano's passing I made it a goal in life to make time to work with animals, whether it be in a shelter, kennel, training, or walking. I have also owned Rottweilers, Leonbergers, and most recently a little pug/chihuahua mix.

I moved to Brooklyn a few years ago from England as part of my full time tech job. After a few seismic life changes and couple of years of adjustment, I'm finally able to find the time to work with animals again. This is a great source of pleasure and I can't think of any other way to spend my time than with dogs.

I have one cat, Sybil. Although she belongs to my wife, Sybil is physically attached to my lap. She's absolutely nuts and keeps us from having a dog at home, although she will tolerate the occasional visitor (she is the queen of this castle), but she loves and plays as much as any dog would.

Favorite Dog Breed: My favorite breed is the Greyhound.

What do I do when I'm not walkin' dogs? When I'm not with others' animals, I spend time exploring and enjoying Brooklyn with my wife, mixing music (I'm also a professional DJ), cuddling with my cat, and watching lots of soccer. I mean, I'm English for crying out loud!
