Pet Portraits
Your pet should be in pictures! Pet photography is a great way to capture the eccentric charm, mood swings and sweetness of your best-looking family member. Photo shoots by Chun-Soon Li, ProspectBArk founder and photographer, are held in your home or on location (beach, hiking trail, or on a stroll “down the Avenue”).
Photo shoots vary in length but usually take a few hours. Dogs and cats (especially!) need some time to relax around a camera and let their true selves shine through. Chun-Soon will bring a goodie bag of toys, treats and other tools to help your pet feel comfortable and look her best!
Each photo shoot yields about 25-40 good images. Within one week you will receive online access to your digital Contact Sheet of these images, from which you can select any of the packages below. Chun-Soon is also able to help you select mats and frames for your prints for an additional fee. All digital images are compressed for hassle-free emailing to friends and family.
If there are simply too many beautiful images of your pet to decide, why not have a museum-quality, hardcover Artbook of your pet made, complete with your favorite quotes, poetry, or your own writing? These coffee-table books are printed on archival paper and will record a moment in time with your pet. Custom Artbooks can be any length, any size, and range in tone from whimsical to very formal, from full-color spreads to subdued and nuanced. This is the story of your pet. How do you want to tell it?
Pet Photography Prices
photo shoot in NY-Metro area: Includes travel time, minimum 2 hours in your home or on location, photo editing of up to 40 images, and access to your digital Contact Sheet within 7 days. Also includes 7 internet-ready images for websites, blogs, and email. $200, for each additional pet add $40
photo shoot outside of NY-Metro area: If you love the photos on this site, but live outside of NYC, Chun-Soon Li will come to you. Of course, the pricing will reflect travel time, accommodations, etc.

Best Deal: hi-res DVD which contains all the edited images from your shoot, in large format (for unlimited home printing) and also compressed versions for emailing, posting to blogs and photo-sharing sites, etc. $50

I love your website, who designed it? I am working on getting mine a little more compelling.
I also need a portrait of me and my dog for my business, Rescue Chocolate. I would like to do it indoors since it’s so cold out, but I cannot use my own home. Do you have a studio in Brooklyn to shoot in? I live in North Park Slope, so the closer the better.
